Welcome to Brevard Alliance Rescuing K9's (B.A.R.K.)

our mission

To deter, prevent, and rescue abandoned dogs in Brevard County, Florida.

our newest rescue

After four days of relentless stakeouts, coaxing, and mosquito-ridden nights, we finally trapped Marshall (found in the marsh) with a trap that was generously donated to us by one of our supporters. He has since been adopted by one of our board members and is living his best life!

Most Wanted

We have been attempting to capture this sly dog since April 13, 2024 (now called Houdini due to his illusive nature). If you have any leads on this boy, please contact us.

Volunteer of the Month

Ashley

Ashley has many years of teaching experience, as well as administrative through running her own woodworking business. Animals have always been her passion, her favorites being dogs, cats, and hermit crabs. She has two dogs of her own and has fostered seven pups so far. Her spare time is spent on engaging in art, painting, and reading. She loves spending time with her son, family, and our rescue team.
Ashley and her son have assisted B.A.R.K. in numerous ways, including joining group searches and scouting on their own. She has recently earned the title "Director of Operations" for B.A.R.K., and we are excited to have her aboard our team!

ATTENTION

Supporters and followers:
On the evening of 5/3/24, there was an incident that occurred on the SW end of Madden street off of J.A. Bombardier Blvd. A large group of teenagers were gathering for what was assumed to be a party, where a fire was lit. When the police and fire department arrived on scene, they were told that the ones who lit the fire were in a group looking for a dog. Rest assured, none of the people there were associated with B.A.R.K. We do not condone these types of scare tactics, and will always use the most humane ways in our pursuit of animals. Our ultimate goal is to return any animal back to its owner, or foster the animal safely. Thank you for your continued support.
